Kurt Conrady was born in 1932 in Nuremberg.

His artistic carrer has been preassigned since his father was an excellent artist. Therefore, his talent was discovered early and supported by his father.

His paintigs were in great demand during school time which is the reason why he never managed to establish a collection of his works for himself. So to speak, he had an academy in his parents’ house.

His father taught him different painting and colouring techniques. Furthermore, he was interested in music and attended the municipal conservatoire. Nevertheless, he went for painting after he had studied in Munich for a short while.

During several journey to the USA and Hawaii he managed to gain ground there. His adoration of creation and his love to nature was strengthen on countless hikes through nature. The romantic rendition of landscape in an ideal world has always been his most important concern.
